Visit length describes the planned appointment. Insurer coding follows the actual service, clinical complexity, documented qualifying time. Extended EMDR uses the hourly therapy rate; workers’ compensation reimbursement follows authorized codes plus payment limits.
Your visit, routine charting, treatment recommendations are included. Medication, laboratory testing, outside referrals have separate charges. Longer or additional services are agreed upon before care.
Medication-management-plus-psychotherapy visits include both defined services. An integrated visit can be selected when it fits your clinical needs; therapy time is distinguished from medical-management work.
A participating commercial plan may apply a copay, coinsurance, deductible. If you choose private pay, an itemized receipt or superbill may support an out-of-network claim when permitted. Your insurer determines reimbursement.
If you have Medicare or Apple Health, contact the practice before choosing private pay. Program rules can limit cash-payment arrangements. Pending applications are verified before an insured visit is confirmed.
For authorized claim-related care, Uno Psych bills the responsible insurer directly. Zero patient copays or deductibles apply to covered workers’ compensation services. Private-pay fees describe a different payment arrangement.
Clinical services, authorization, insurer rules determine payment. A longer appointment alone creates zero guarantee of additional covered units.
L&I care + authorizationUninsured patients or patients choosing private pay may request a written Good Faith Estimate of expected charges before care. Ask for the estimate when scheduling. A bill at least $400 above the provider’s estimated charges may qualify for the federal dispute process.
CMS estimate guidancePlease contact the practice as early as possible to reschedule. Your intake financial policy explains any late-cancellation or missed-appointment charge. Ask for clarification before agreeing to the policy.
